These Terms & Conditions govern your purchase of products from ToiletsEtc at toiletsetc.com ("ToiletsEtc," "we," "us"). By placing an order, you agree to the terms below. Please review them together with your product's lead times and return eligibility before you check out.

Ordering & pricing

Your order is confirmed once you receive an order-confirmation email. In the rare event an order cannot be processed as shown on the website — for example, due to a pricing or typographical error — we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund.

Lead times

Products ship from the manufacturer or our warehouse, and lead times vary by brand and model. In-stock items typically ship within a few business days; special-order, made-to-order and custom-finish models (such as AET decorative and custom-finish toilets) can take longer. If your item has an extended lead time, our team will let you know the expected timeframe.

Shipping & delivery

Freight is free on orders over $999. Orders under $999 include a freight charge calculated at checkout.

  • Toilets and other large items ship via LTL freight. Standard freight delivery is to the curbside — the driver is not responsible for bringing the item inside. Additional delivery services such as liftgate or inside / room-of-choice delivery are not always available, may incur an extra fee, and depend on the carrier and your location. Please ask us before your order ships and we'll confirm what's available and any charges.
  • Please make sure the delivery service will have the access needed to complete delivery. If you live in a gated community or anticipate access difficulties, let us know in advance.
  • Large freight items require a signature. Please make sure someone is present to inspect the item and sign the delivery receipt.
  • Smaller items ship via ground service (such as FedEx or UPS) and generally do not require a signature. If you would like to require a signature, please tell us when you place your order.

Inspect your shipment on delivery. If you find damage, refuse the shipment or note the damage on the delivery receipt before signing. If you cannot inspect it in front of the driver but the packaging appears damaged, note it on the receipt and inspect the item as soon as possible.

In all cases, notify us of any damage or missing parts within 7 days of delivery. Please send photos and keep the original boxes and all protective packaging.

Damaged or defective items

We want you to receive every item in pristine condition. If an item arrives damaged, follow the inspection steps above and contact us within 7 days with photos. Where damage is deemed repairable by the manufacturer, we may arrange a repair within the policy timeframe. If you receive the wrong item, notify us within 30 days with the product and packaging intact and we will guide you on how to proceed. Please note that we cannot be held responsible for slight color variations caused by screen settings or resolution.

If a product arrives without visible damage but does not function properly, this is typically covered under the manufacturer's warranty (see below).

Cancellations & returns

You may cancel most orders at no charge until the order ships from the manufacturer or our warehouse — please contact us promptly. An order is only considered canceled once you receive a cancellation-confirmation email.

If your order has shipped and the item is returnable, we must be contacted within 30 days of delivery to begin the return. You are responsible for return shipping, and returns are subject to a restocking fee (typically 20%, reflecting manufacturer charges). We can only accept returns received in resalable condition — the product box unopened and the product and original protective packaging fully intact. Returns must be shipped back traceable and insured; we cannot be responsible for damage or loss in transit.

Non-returnable / non-cancelable items. Installed products, toilet seats, clearance items, and special-order, made-to-order and custom-finish items (including AET custom-finish and decorative models) cannot be canceled or returned. In the unlikely event these arrive damaged or defective, the damage guidelines above apply.

Warranty & authenticity

ToiletsEtc is an authorized dealer. Every product is genuine, brand-new and backed by the full manufacturer's warranty — never grey-market. Our team is glad to help you through the manufacturer's warranty process, but we do not offer a separate warranty for manufacturer defects.

Limitation of liability

Under no circumstances are we responsible for plumbing or installation expenses, or for any costs or losses beyond the cost of the product and its shipping. We also cannot be held responsible if a product does not meet your required specifications or local building code — please do your due diligence before ordering. Products that have been installed cannot be returned under any circumstances.

Lost or stolen packages

We will always notify you when your order ships and provide tracking. Please stay up to date on your order and retrieve it promptly. We cannot issue refunds or replacements for an order the carrier has recorded as delivered, even if it is lost or stolen after delivery. If you would like to require a signature on delivery, please request it when you place your order.

Payment security

Our checkout is SSL-encrypted and meets PCI Data Security Standards. Every order is screened for fraud, and flagged orders are reviewed before payment is processed.
